Welcome to the Nucleation Capital (“NC”) website (the “Website”). This Privacy Policy is to help you understand what information NC collects, how NC uses it, how it may be shared, and what choices you have with respect to the foregoing. This Privacy Policy governs your interaction with the Website. When you use the Website, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy. The terms “NC,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” refer to Nucleation Capital LP, a Delaware limited partnership and Nucleation Capital Management, a California limited liability company.


This Privacy Policy covers NC’s use and treatment of information collected by the Website and personal information that you provide in connection with your use of the Website. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the data collection and use practices of third parties that NC does not own or control, including but not limited to, any third party services you access through the Website.

We collect information that you provide to us directly and information that is automatically collected when you use our Website. We may use the information for purposes including but not limited to: operating as a venture fund, building a community of investors, maintaining, enhancing, and providing the Website’s functionality; responding to questions or providing information that you request; personalizing your experience; monitoring Website usage; providing support; generating and reviewing reports and data about the Website’s user base and service usage patterns; compiling data for internal business purposes; messaging you (in response to inquiries regarding our fund or in other ways described by this Privacy Policy); maintaining the Website and generally complying with business, investment and other legal obligations.

A. Investment Inquiries:

When you use a website form to register your interest in Nucleation Capital or submit information about yoru venture, we collect your name, contact information and other data that you provide. You may update or change any registration information by submitting a new form with the corrected information. Later submissions over-write earlier submissions. You may also email us at: All personal information submitted is kept private and used solely for our professional operation of the fund.  Please note: We will never contact you to request any personal banking, payment or financial information. All financial transactions are managed and conducted through our venture portal at AngelList.

B. Communications:

When you submit information through our Website, you are opting in to receive communications from us or about NC. We do not share any of your personal information with any third party for any purpose.  Most of our communications with you will be by private email service from a domain email address.  However, in the future, there may be group messages sent through a commercial html service or through our venture technology platform, should you elect to participate in our fund.  Consistent with applicable laws, including United States CAN-SPAM laws, you can opt out of certain email communications by clicking “unsubscribe” on those communications. To opt out of receiving private emails from us, simply request to be removed from our communications.

C. Automatically Collected Information:

Through our website, our use of commercial data services like Airtable, and particularly through the automated use of cookies by website services and hosts, we may collect and store information about you, your investing experience and preferences, your contact information and your use of the Website. All such information is maintained in strict confidence and is used solely by us for the purposes of providing you with information, access to investment opportunities that you have an interest in and better service.

D. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

We, and third parties we interact with, including our service providers, may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technology in connection with your use of the Website and third-party websites (collectively referred to in this policy as “Cookies”). In connection with your use of the Website, which may involve your submission of information in order to be pre-qualified for inclusion in our fund, we will provide further information about us, our fund and how to subscribe directly to you  using an email address that is identified with us and the domain. Any information purporting to come from us which does not have our domain extension should be reported, especially if there is any attempt to request payments or financial information. The only exception will be in the event that we have been asked to provide information  pursuant to a law enforcement matter or court orders, such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, judicial proceeding, or other legal process served on us by a credible authority.

We use certain physical, managerial, and technical safeguards that are designed to improve the integrity and security of our website and your personally identifiable information. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the perfect security of any information you transmit to us or store on the Website, and you do so at your own risk. We cannot guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. However, we do not ever directly collect sensitive personal or financial information, such as social security numbers, bank accounts or passwords, so any breach of our Website or computer systems will have a low, non-financial impact.

If we learn of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. Our Website contains links to other sites that are not controlled by us. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies.    3. California Privacy Rights

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents can request in writing from businesses with whom they have an established business relationship: (a) a list of the categories of personal information and the type of services provided to the customer, that a business has disclosed to third parties (including affiliates that are separate legal entities) during the immediately preceding calendar year for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes and (b) the names and addresses of all such third parties. H. Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy will be interpreted under the laws of California and of the United States. To the extent you are accessing the Website from outside of the United States, you do so at your own risk. If you are located outside the United States, you should be aware that your information will be transferred to the United States. The data protection laws of the United States may not be as comprehensive as those in your country.
