Elon Musk has been increasingly outspoken about the insanity of shutting down nuclear, particularly by Germany. He has now given a number of interviews and has tweeted repeatedly on the topic. Here, Musk is interviewed by Mathias Döpfner, CEO of Axel Springer, and provides one of the most clear explanations of his thoughts about nuclear power. Mathias and Elon engage in conversation around nuclear power, during which Elon Musk makes it very clear that he thinks it is crazy to be shutting down nucelar, especially in the context of decarbonization and the need to eliminate dependence upon Russian fossil fuels.
