Energy growth ignites demand for nuclear

Q2 of 2025 has seen growing momentum for nuclear power, driven by rising demand from AI combined with corporate determination to secure clean power for this energy need. This has translated into an expanding number of countries and states looking to attract nuclear developers and build new nuclear locally, including in New York, where Kathy Hochul just announced her plan to add a gigawatt of new nuclear power from advanced SMRs.

Nuclear’s ascent is starting

The first quarter of 2025 has seen growing local, state, federal, and international movement back towards nuclear power, coupled with increasing investor interest, exceeding anything previously witnessed since the 1970s and '80s. We see this activity as foundational to what we believe will be accelerating growth for nuclear power.

Cherishing our heritage enough to protect it for our children

What does Thanksgiving have to do with nuclear energy?

Most of you will agree that what you love best about Thanksgiving is not the turkey but being together with family, friends and your children, whether grown or still growing. As we sit down to celebrate at the end of 2024, in an era of profound climate uncertainty, I feel compelled to share some new data I just learned with you: 42% of recently surveyed global youth are suffering from climate anxiety. 75% feel frightened, betrayed by adults and claim that this anxiety impacts their life. 52% say that concerns about global warming make them not want children of their own. This data hits directly into all of our nuclear families.

Let's give thanks for the good things we have but also acknowledge this reality. Talk about climate change and commit to reducing the impacts our lifestyle and our continued use of fossil fuels will have on future generations. Humanity will always demand energy but, while that's true, if we can break our reliance on sources of dirty energy and accelerate the transition to clean energy—especially nuclear power—that is how we can best protect our kids' futures.

You Can Take Action NOW! Here are five simple things that you, your relatives and friends can do to make a difference—without huge sacrifice and potentially with impressive gains—to help brighten our children's future:

  • Stop letting your retirement funds be invested in fossil fuels. Look at what positions you hold in your account and be willing to make changes. Your investments are like your vote on the future you want to see.
  • Invest in nuclear power—the best clean energy there is. Even if you work in the industry, at a national lab or for the government, you should still invest more broadly into the overall sector by selecting from among a range of public market funds that are nuclear focused.
  • Join the Nucleation syndicate, the first-ever pronuclear investor network. This free membership allows you to receive invites to select nuclear and carbon deals (starting as low as $1k) and strengthens our community.
  • Diversify into Private Equity. If you qualify as accredited, be willing to take some extra risk in order to support nuclear innovation. By investing in our Fund, you can gain exposure to the growth of the nuclear sector and improve the overall return of your portfolio, at a surprisingly affordable level. Start building the alternative energy portfolio your kids will be thrilled to learn about because it helps reduce the climate threat.
  • Share your optimism for nuclear energy as a climate solution. Talk about nuclear. Whether you are in the nuclear industry or not, encourage others to consider a career in nuclear. We're gonna need many more hands to help scale these exciting new technologies and build nuclear into an industry increasingly in greater demand than fossil fuels.

Now, for what we are thankful for.

Thank you for reading and considering taking real action with your dollars. Thank you to Microsoft, GoogleAmazonand Meta for leading the way by placing very large power purchase deals for nuclear power and finally getting next-gen nuclear on the radar for many more investors. Thanks to our Advisors and Supporters. And a special thanks to each and every one of our hundreds of pronuclear LPs. You are making a difference and you inspire us every day!

Now go have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Nuclear’s inflection point arrives with an exclamation mark!

The announcement by Microsoft and Constellation that they had struck an agreement to restart Unit 1 of Three Mile Island plant so that Microsoft could purchase twenty years of the power that would come from that plant changed everything. This was an "in your face" declaration that nuclear energy is good stuff and that public approbiation was not going to stop Microsoft from fulfilling its pledge to reduce carbon emissions.
